Duathlon Training 2010/11

 

The club runs duathlon training sessions (run/ride/run) in the two months leading upto the first race. The duathlons are run every other Sunday alternating with Rockingham Tri Club. Mandurah duathlons are held at old Madora Bay in the carpark adjacent to the Madora Bay Tavern. Look out for the club trailer.

 

Duathlons are a great way for new members to feel what it is like to transition from the ride to the run in a race like environment. Having said that, the duathlons are a very informal and casual session. The distances are setup such that you can do what ever distance you feel comfortable with. Feeling good? Legs running well? Why not keep going to the next marker before you turn around and add on that little bit of extra distance.

Anyone can come along and participate in this session. Haven't joined the club yet? Not sure who to talk to? Come along and meet some of the other club members.

Mandurah duathlon's will start from the carpark adjacent to the Madora Bay Tavern.

 

Rockingham duathlon's will start from the small carpark on Rockingham Beach Road opposite Alexandra Street.
