Some cooling cloud cover and a nice breeze was perfect for the final Madora Bay race. It’s back to Halls Head in 3 weeks but not before Madora Bay threw some challenges at the field today. The swim with some high seas and a bike course with some roadworks going on were managed very well be the field of 85 competitors. We continue to see new people giving the Enticer distance a go and some stepping up to the standard course. We think people who do a tri for the first time are awesome! So well done!  Well done also to Dave Patullo claiming his first win of the season who put in a hard run to hold off in form Jamie Muir. It was great to see our sponsors down at the events with Lia from Bodyworks promoting the Endura brand and Jason from Realworld CrossFit at the race with the Triggerpoint Therapy Kits.

Congratulations to Rebecca Jensen winning the spot prize draw for a 1 hr massage thanks to our club Massage Therapist Nicky Goodfellow.

It’s back to Halls Head in 3 weeks for the Webset Timed Handicap Triathlon. In this race we reverse the field and the fastest get to go last. If we get the handicaps right everyone should finish together…

If you want club racing gear keep an eye on the website as information will be posted within the next 24 hours and this will be the only order we’ll do this season.
