Don’t wait until next year; the Mandurah Triathlon Club is undergoing some exciting changes, so be a part of the club as we grow!

Mandurah Triathlon Club is a great club to meet like-minded people, to start your triathlon journey or continue to improve your triathlon career. It doesn’t matter if you have never done a triathlon before…everyone at our club ‘started’ as a novice. Every training session and race we have members who are just starting and range from 9 years of age to 70+ years of age.

You will not feel uncomfortable if you have never ridden a bike, run or swam before. We would love you to come along and add to the fun and participation at the Mandurah Triathlon Club. Click here  for training details (also see our calendar)

How Much Can I Do?

As much as you want!  The club holds four Duathlons during September and October and 10 Triathlons from November through to April including Splash and Dash training sessions every Friday night.

Membership Overview

Membership year
The membership year commences on 1 July 2011 and runs through to 30 June 2012.

Racing age
Please note that your racing age is determined by your age as at 31 December for the current membership year for example, season 2011/12 your age will be determined as of 31 December 2011.

Fees and charges
All members of Mandurah Triathlon Club (MTC) must also be members of Triathlon WA.

To join Mandurah Triathlon Club you must complete the online registration at www.triwa.org.au/membership.htm.

There is a Triathlon WA component and a MTC component to the overall fee structure. Membership fees for the 2011-12 seasons are as follows:

Race Fees

Race fees are $30 per race (this includes TA and non TA members)

 

MTC members of Triathlon Australia (TA) receive a $25 discount on race fees.
This means you can join up with MTC as a secondary member or primary member and race for $5

Scenario 1: I am a TA member ($140) of MTC ($30)
Race entry is $5 – Full TA and club member benefits

Scenario 2: I am Secondary Member ($30) of MTC – (for members affiliated with other TA triathlon clubs.)
Race entry is $5 – Full TA and club member benefits

Scenario 3: I would like to have a go but I am not a member of any club
Race entry is $30 – You can request to be added to the mailing list

Scenario 4: I am not a member of MTC but I am a member of TA

Race entry is $30 – Generally it will work out cheaper for you if you join the club

MTC recommends our members are also TWA Members. When signing up with TWA, please select Mandurah as your triathlon club. There are many benefits including lower cost of entry to most events and a race license for the season. If you would like more information feel free to contact the club for further information.
